Business requirements for a competent person
Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, 1999, requires companies who employ 5 or more people (not including sub-contractors) to have a named competent health and safety person. This person can be employed from within your own organisation or outsourced to an external company.
The competent person responsible for health and safety should have sufficient training, experience or knowledge to meet the requirements of Health and Safety legislation.
Our Service
Our service includes two scheduled visits to your premises per year, unlimited telephone and email support, attendance at quarterly health and safety meetings, provision of updates to health and safety legislation relevant to your business.
In addition, extra support can be scheduled for investigations/project work, at a price to be negotiated.
